Taylor Lautner was glad to be rid of the wig that transformed his into werewolf Jacob Black. Taylor revealed that he and the cast and crew of New Moon were so excited to get rid of the wig that they had a small ceremony! New Moon, the second film in the Twilight saga comes out in just a week, on November 20th.

The wig might be a key part of his transformation into werewolf Jacob Black, but Taylor Lautner revealed that he was not at all sorry to see it go. From Twist:

“The last day of filming with the wig, we ripped it off, put it up in the air, and the whole crew gave a standing ovation,” Taylor dished. “It was amazing to take that thing off.”

I have to say that I agree: Not a fan of the wig! He wouldn’t be Jacob without it though, don’t you think?
