Taylor Swift won’t get interrupted at the AMA Awards. Kanye West didn’t get nominated for anything, so he should be a no-show at the ceremony. Whew! But keep a firm grip on that microphone, just in case.

Taylor Swift leads with six nods at the upcoming American Music Awards, including a bid for artist of the year. Nominations for the AMAs are determined by record sales and Swift has sold 1.8 million copies of “Fearless” this year. Her album contends in both the pop/rock and country categories.

Way to go Taylor! She also just announced that her tour would be extended by several months and adding shows across the country. You rock it, girl. Kanye, stay clean and far away from the stage.
