Brenda Song has joined the cast of The Social Network, a film about the creation of the popular social network Facebook. The Social Network, which will be directed by Academy Award-nominated director David Fincher, stars an ensemble cast, including pop star Justin Timberlake, Zombieland’s Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, and Gossip Girl’s Armie Hammer.

Rehearsals began yesterday for The Social Network. The ensemble cast includes Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Max Minghella, Rooney Mara, Dakota Johnson, Brenda Song, Armie Hammer, Josh Pence and about 20 others to come. Shooting begins Oct. 19th in Cambridge, MA.

I’m a big Facebook user. With such a great director attached to the film, I’m curious to see how it turns out!
