Robert Pattinson gets thin roles. Not in skinny, but bland, boring and dull roles of characters that Robert says he has no desire to play! Awwww, poor Robert! Good thing he has Twilight to keep him going for many years.

Robert has done a couple of movies besides twilight, but they haven’t been released yet 9or have they?) He says what he gets offered is crap, basically. From Dazed Digital:

Is he going to harness his newfound fame and box-office appeal to approach the kind of filmmakers he wants to work with in the future? He’s not so sure. “Annoyingly, there are so few parts I feel I can add anything to, or that I want to do.” But he knows what he doesn’t need. “I don’t want to be an actor for the sake of it. I don’t find any particular pleasure in being an attention-seeker.”

So, Robert is an actor that isn’t doing it for the money, right? Actually, I might believe him. If he were out partying and clubbing I wouldn’t, but since he doesn’t, we’ll give him the benefit here.
